This is the world's smallest particulate matter sensor. It is 4.2 x 3.5 x 3.1 mm³ (W x L x H) in size and measures particulate matter less than 2.5 micrometres in diameter (PM2.5). It measures everything in the air that is not a gas (this consists of a huge variety of chemical compounds and materials, some of which can be toxic).
