EZ-Inspect
Catalogs:
Overview
A portable inspection stand for nuclear waste drums. The system is placed on top of a drum, then four arms with embedded cameras fold out and simultaneously take
several pictures of the entire drum. The arms with the cameras have a 360° view of the drum and can fit
between drums on pallets making the system usable for standalone or palleted drums. Once a snapshot
of a drum is taken, the drum information and image are stored in the local memory of the device. After the
required drums are inspected, the data is transferred to a database and a defect detection algorithm is employed
to show areas of potential damage to the user.
