Irreversible, nerve gas

Overview
Nerve agents, also known as nerve gases, are a class of highly toxic chemical compounds that disrupt the transmission of nerve signals, causing paralysis and death. They work by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase, an enzyme responsible for breaking down acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter. This leads to a buildup of acetylcholine, overstimulating nerve cells and causing a range of debilitating symptoms.
