In this process, waste feed, superheated steam, and co-reactants are introduced into a fluidized bed steam reformer vessel where liquids are evaporated, organics are destroyed, and reactive chemicals in the waste feed are fully converted to a stable mineralized waste product that incorporates almost all of the radionuclides and heavy metals.
