A technique for extending the life of underground cables - cable rejuvenation. Over time, water ingress reduces the efficiency of the insulation weakening its dielectric strength which could potentially lead to a failure. It works by injecting a silicon liquid (Cablecure 732) into the cable that reacts with the insulation to revitalize it and hence increase cable life.
