The Molten Chloride Salt Fast Reactor (MCSFR) core design allows it to scale drastically in power output by changing only its external components. The physical core vessel remains the exact same size (an "empty cup" structure with no internal moderator). It can produce anywhere from 4 MWe to 1,200 MWe. It operates at low atmospheric pressure but achieves core outlet temperatures between 750°C and 1,000°C. This high heat makes it incredibly efficient for generating electricity as well as industrial process heat (like hydrogen or synthetic fuel production)
