Overview
The FMR (Fast Modular Reactor) is a specific fast-neutron SMR concept which uses fast neutrons and high-temperature helium coolant rather than water-cooled moderation. Power output is 44 MWe per single module, scalable into 4-module (176 MWe) or 6-module (264 MWe) configurations. It uses non-radioactive helium gas and features an air/dry-cooled design that requires no water, making it suitable for remote or arid areas.
