This is a subsea Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) small modular reactor (SMR) concept. Designed to typically generating around 160 MWe (with conceptual ranges spanning 50 to 250 MWe) it is a cylindrical, transportable submarine nuclear module (roughly 100 meters long and 14 meters in diameter) moored on the sea floor at depths of tens to 100 meters, a few kilometers offshore. It uses the surrounding ocean water as an infinite natural heat sink and passive safety feature.
