The VeinViewer uses near-infrared light to show the veins under your skin with great precision and eliminates the guesswork entirely from the injection process. The device will find the veins, and will then project them on the patient's arm in real time. The special light will be either absorbed by the haemoglobin in the blood or shown back by the skin, while being able to find veins a few centimeters deep.
