Cellular concrete

Overview
A material designed to stop aircraft exceeding the runway limit. When an aircraft overtakes the runway, the tires sink into the cellular concrete, which, being lightweight and compressible, absorbs energy and generates resistance, causing an efficient vehicle deceleration. This system is being implemented at airports as an additional security measure, providing an effective solution in critical situations where traditional braking methods are not sufficient.
