Result of the HiBot-TOPY project. A crawler robot, combining compact dimensions, ultra light weight and mobility to overcome high obstacles. Being operated by wireless LAN, it is a platform for research and delicate operations This HiBot-Topy project is a collaboration between HiBot Corp., a spin-off from Hirose and Fukushima Lab of the Tokyo Institute of Technology, and Topy Industries, Ltd. Hirose and Fukushima Lab. is known for the research and development of rescue and mobile robots, while Topy Industries has acquired knowledge over the years with the manufacture of many types of crawlers for construction machines.
