A research programme to develop robots intended to be used in mobile “flying factories”, which use temporary manufacturing facilities near to a construction site. These factories enable manufacturing to be carried out in controlled conditions, removing the effects of bad weather and other onsite hazards, allowing building work to be carried out quickly and safely.
