The Off-Riser Sampling System (ORSS) is a remotely operated robotic device that can move around the bottom of a waste tank to get samples of waste. It scoops up samples with its bulldozer like blade so engineers can tell exactly what, and how much, is left inside. The Possum comes equipped with a camera so operators can locate target waste and control the device.
