Aquanaut is an all-electric underwater transformer, with technology that removes the need for a tether while still ensuring command authority with an operator. Aquanaut can cover up to 200 km (108 nmi) in one mission while accomplishing typical AUV tasks like seabed mapping, and wide area structure inspection. It can transform itself from a nimble submarine designed for long-distance cruising into a half-humanoid robot capable of carrying out complex manipulation tasks. It can turn a valve and use a subsea tool.
