This is a relatively low weight underwater vacuum robot that could be hand carried to a tank. To keep the weight down (they achieved 63 lbs, and provided additional removable weights for greater traction), containers are incorporated on both sides of the robot, each with three weight slots, and with covers that can be latched/unlatched from above using a modular pole and simple hook. Furthermore, the height of the vacuum head can be adjusted from above with the same pole. The pan/tilt/zoom/light camera is positioned at an angle to meet the client's maximum height requirements. A vertically mounted camera would be preferable if no such height limit were imposed. The power supply and controller are incorporated in a portable Pelican case.
