A rescue robot developed by Japan's Chiba Institute of Technology, the Quince 2 can be controlled from nearly a mile and a half away to monitor radiation levels and collect samples. The waterproof robot is also equipped with a camera that has pan, tilt, and zoom capabilities, and it can move comfortably over uneven surfaces and debris in reactor buildings.
