Texai was a remote telepresence system prototype developed at Willow Garage. Based on the interest in Texai, Suitable Technologies, Inc. was spun out of Willow Garage to bring the technology to market. The resulting BeamPro product for the enterprise was launched in November, 2012 followed by the Beam+ for the home in January, 2014.
