This is an advanced robotic radiotherapy treatment system which serves as a non-invasive alternative to surgery for the treatment of cancerous and non-cancerous conditions, anywhere in the body. It was developed to treat tumours (particularly pancreas, liver, prostate, spine, cancer of the throat and brain) that are not accessible to conventional surgery. The highly-focussed beams of radiation can target tumours that would otherwise be untreatable as they are not suitable for surgery.
