Overview
A hybrid continuous-flip robot designed to address challenges in navigating and maneuvering within piping networks and closed remote vessels. The hybrid robot combines the flexibility of a soft flip robot with the precision of a continuous robot at its end, allowing controlled steering and movement in difficult-to-access and/or complex environments. The design enables the robot to deliver sensors, liquids, and aerosols to remote areas, supporting remote decontamination activities.
