A remotely operated vehicles (ROV) to act as teleoperated unmanned underwater vehicles. It is designed for use in marine environments to conduct maintenance and other work for offshore wind power generation. It uses robotics technologies from its ASIMO humanoid robot to develop an ROV with dramatically improved operability, particularly with the development of its manipulator/ROV cooperative control to integrate control of the ROV body and arm.
