Overview
5-fingered robotic hand developed by Unitree Robotics, primarily designed for their advanced humanoid robots like the Unitree H2. It aims to replicate human hand dexterity, allowing robots to perform delicate and complex tasks, such as handling fragile items or solving a Rubik's Cube. The hand boasts 20 total DoF (16 active and 4 passive). The thumb has 4 joints, and each of the other fingers has 3 active joints. The Dex5-1P model features 94 tactile sensors across the hand, allowing for incredible touch perception. Its force-controlled micro-joints allow the robot to backdrive safely, automatically adjusting grip force to avoid crushing fragile objects.
