Overview
A multidimensional tactile dexterous hand. The sensors measure multidimensional tactile data, identifying both normal and shear forces to prevent objects from slipping out of a robot's grip. Built with a thin-film design (around 2 mm profile), the sensors conform easily to curved surfaces like robotic fingertips and have no gel to replace. Piezoresistive and Hall-effect taxel arrays have no moving parts, providing high durability (over 100k cycles) suited for industrial production environments.
