Overview
Traceable dye (commonly known as drain tracing dye or water tracer dye) is a highly concentrated, non-toxic dye used to track water flow, locate leaks, and map plumbing or hydrological networks. Key features are: High Visibility - often appears as a vibrant fluorescent green (using fluorescein), red, yellow, blue, or purple. Fluorescent versions glow brightly or show up under UV/black light. Safe and Biodegradable - most standard tracing dyes are non-toxic, odorless, and manufactured from eco-friendly or food-grade ingredients that do not harm wildlife or plumbing infrastructure. High Concentration - a small amount (such as a single teaspoon or a 200g jar) can color thousands of liters of water, making it cost-effective for large and small jobs.
