FUETAP Concrete


Overview
FUETAP (Formed Under Elevated Temperature and Pressure) Concrete are cement based waste hosts containing special admixtures to fix specific radionuclides in the waste. Developed for transuranic (TRU) and high-level defense and commercial wastes they use Portland cement, fly ash, sand, and clay additives are cured at low temperature and pressure (under mild autoclave conditions), then the unbound water is removed.
